Important: Please note that all visitors to FDA campus are required to go through security screening:

  1. Going through a metal detector or being scanned with a handheld metal detector
  2. Putting bags through an x-ray machine and hand inspection

You will be asked to remove personal electronic devices & chargers larger than a cell phone from your bags and place them into a bin with nothing placed on or under them for X-ray screening.

Please be aware: Federal law prohibits the following items on Federal property: firearms, explosives, archery equipment, weapons, knives with blades over 2½ inches, alcoholic beverages, open containers of alcohol and marijuana (cannabis).

GROUND TRANSPORTATION:

Two shuttle transportation sprinters will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on Wednesday, June 7th  at 6:45am and 7:15am from DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC Silver Spring, 8777 Georgia Ave to the FDA. If the final shuttle reaches maximum capacity before you have been seated, you will be responsible for your own transportation to the White Oak Facility.

Each participant is responsible for their own ground transportation after the meeting adjourns on Wednesday, June 7th. Two transportation services to consider are listed below:

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Participants driving to the White Oak Facility should follow the directions and parking instructions provided on the map. All meeting attendees must enter through Building 1.
